 Wild Goose Chase

(noun) - a search that is completely unsuccessful and a waste of time because the person or thing being searched for either does not exist or is somewhere else. 

For most people, the concept of a wild goose chase comes with a negative association. It represents a waste of time and is something to avoid. After all, who wants to spend a bunch of time chasing something they'll never actually capture.

But, when I thought about what this brand represents, and what I am trying to do with it, I realized the it was the perfect name for the project.

At WGC the journey is everything. Although the ultimate goal is for everyone in the world to be happy and understand themselves, I also realize how completely unattainable and impossible that is. Aside from being a massive goal for a small company, happiness is not something that can chased down and caught. It's a state of mind that requires consistent work and attention. It's a Wild Goose Chase.

I realize my goal is something I will never be able to achieve, but that's just the way I like it.
